We’re getting closer. Now with the Golden Globe and SAG nominations out there, things are starting to clear up.
The only thing not really clear is “Star Wars” which we won’t know much about till midnight on the 16th. Still we are at a point where you can expect most of the nominees to look like what we have below.
So here are our current 2016 Oscar Predictions:
The Screen Actors Guild nominations should give us a better idea of what these categories should look like, but we’re posting our finals a day before they are announced this time.
We usually try to bring out our final predictions the day that ballots are due, we’re a little behind this time, but we think our predictions are really strong for this one.
Here are the Predictions:
Motion Picture – Drama
Bridge of Spies
Mad Max: Fury Road
The Hateful Eight
Straight Outta Compton
Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical
The Big Short
I’ll See You in My Dreams
Diary of a Teenage Girl
The Lady in the Van
Infinitely Polar Bear
The Screen Actors Guild will announce both their film and television nominees Wednesday morning.
Usually SAG voters eyeball the front-runners, however many of them miss the late films (Joy, The Hateful Eight, The Revenant), and they usually throw us a curveball or two.
See here are our quick predictions on what will go down Wednesday morning, once the nominees are announced we will scramble to finalize our Golden Globe predictions factoring in what we’ve seen this season.
Here they are:

We don’t usually have to know a life story or an epilogue of a character to really enjoy their company and many characters throughout the years have stood the test of time.
Here is our list of the top 20 most iconic film characters (more…)
