Golden Globes: 2016 Television Predictions – September
Golden Globes: 2016 Television Predictions – September
So many intriguing new Fall shows are about to start coming out, and before we know it, in December, we may be seeing some of them sneak their way into a couple Golden Globe nominations.
You have to kind of mirror the Emmys here, but the Golden Globes tend to take Television nominations in a different way. These predictions are real early, and predicting an “unseen” television show is twice as difficult as a movie.
We think that “Fargo,” “Game of Thrones,” “Mad Men,” “Transparent” will all make welcome returns while newcomers such as “Empire” and “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” may break out. Meanwhile “American Horror Story: Hotel” will likely hold down many of the “Mini-Series and TV Movie” categories.
So here is our complete Television Predictions. We’ve also updated all of our Golden Globe movie predictions which can all be found here.

Emmys: Updated Emmy Predictions
The next big award show is the Primetime Emmys. It is still very early to predict these accurately, but we think we are narrowing in on many categories.
The final season of “Mad Men” should cause a stir, while new shows like “Better Call Saul” and “The Last Man on Earth” could potentially breakthrough. Not to mention the return of “Game of Thrones,” “Mad Men,” and “Modern Family.”

Golden Globes: 2015 Golden Globe Predictions post-TIFF
You wouldn’t think it, but there is a significant different in the mind of an Academy voter and a Hollywood Foreign Press voter. To end an excellent festival, “The Imitation Game” went home with the TIFF Audience Award. One of the runner-up films was “St. Vincent” another Weinstein film that should farewell in the comedy categories at the Globes.
We went ahead and updated everything, including television categories as we start seeking into a new Fall season for shows.
