Emmys: Final Emmy Nomination Predictions – 2015
These are our final predictions for the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy nominations. Nominations will be announced on July 16th.
Each category ranks contenders by most likely to be nominated. We went ahead and did all acting categories (including guest acting). All TV Movie and Limited Series categories are included, and we just did the front-runners for the directing/writing categories.
Let us know your predictions! And check our our Emmys page for updated changes after the nominations are announced.
Television Series – Drama
Game of Thrones
House of Cards
The Good Wife
Orange is the New Black
You wouldn’t think it, but there is a significant different in the mind of an Academy voter and a Hollywood Foreign Press voter. To end an excellent festival, “The Imitation Game” went home with the TIFF Audience Award. One of the runner-up films was “St. Vincent” another Weinstein film that should farewell in the comedy categories at the Globes.
We went ahead and updated everything, including television categories as we start seeking into a new Fall season for shows.

Motion Picture – Drama
The Imitation Game
Uzo Aduba, Orange is the New Black
Tina Fey, Saturday Night Live
Laverne Cox, Orange is the New Black
Natasha Lyonne, Orange is the New Black
Melissa McCarthy, Saturday Night Live
Joan Cusack, Shameless
Last Update: 07/12/14
Out of the 3 actors nominated for “Orange is the New Black,” Uzo Aduba has the edge for playing Crazy Eyes. Meanwhile Tina Fey is an old favorite, and an actress adored by many, but I don’t know if a host performance on “Saturday Night Live” is enough to get her a victory.
We have fully updated all of our Golden Globe Predictions. This includes all categories, from the major film categories, to the mini-series and tv movie categories.
We have listed the top 5 in ABC order per category below, to give us an idea what the Golden Globe nominations would look like if they came now. Keep in mind a lot of TV shows and mini-series will come out between now and then, so the tv categories should be taken with a grain of salt.
Here is where we stand on all our predictions:
