Golden Globes: Updated Predictions – November
Golden Globes: Updated Predictions- November
This may be our second to last Golden Globe Predictions unless something significant happens.
The HFPA recently stated that both “The Martian” and “Joy” would be considered comedies. Other notable activities included rejecting Rooney Mara and Alicia Vikander’s placement as “Supporting Actresses.”
We have made all of these updates. We have also done the Television categories. You can keep watch here to see if anything changes between now and the week before the nominations are announced.

Golden Globes: Updated Film Predictions – October
Golden Globes: Updated Film Predictions – October
We have updated our Film Predictions for the Golden Globes. We were going to do the television shows as well, but it seems like not much has changed there.
Click here to see Movie and Television predictions.
Big steps have been made by “Joy,” “Spotlight,” and “Room.” However, there are still many films to be seen. “I Saw the Light” gets pushed to 2016, making the “Musical/Comedy” categories even more obscure.

Oscars: Updated Predictions – August
Oscars: Updated Predictions – July
With the new, stunning list of films premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival, we thought it was about time we go through and update our Oscar Predictions.
Truthfully though, not much has changed. “The Revenant” still looks strong, The Weinstein Company still has “Carol” and “The Hateful Eight.” “Star Wars” seems like it could nail a lot of the technical categories along with Spielberg’s “Bridge of Spies.”
Once TIFF and Telluride kick off we will have a whole new enlightenment on what is to come, but for now here are our best guesses:
And remember, keep visiting our Oscar page for frequent updates.

Oscar: Updated Predictions – Post Cannes
Oscar: Updated Predictions – Post Cannes
“Carol,” “MacBeth,” “Inside Out,” “Sicario,” “Mad Max: Fury Road” are just some of the titles that had a strong reaction at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
Since last time (mid-April) a lot has changed. Still, there are a ton of potentially strong films that should show up on the festival circuit this fall. We still feel strongly about “The Revenant,” “Steve Jobs,” “The Danish Girl,” and “The Hateful Eight” as well.
So below are our full predictions, and click here to always access our most updated predictions.

Oscar: Way too Early Oscar Predictions – 2016
Oscar: Way too Early Oscar Predictions – 2016
Wow. There are a lot of great film to look forward to next year. Quentin Tarantino, Steven Spielberg, David O. Russell, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Tom Hooper, Stephen Frears, Joel/Ethan Coen, Martin Scorsese, Werner Herzog, Gus van Sant, Terrence Malick, and Ridley Scott all have films in the mix.
The big story though is the release of a 40 year-old film written/directed by Orson Welles. So we could potentially have a strong line-up of contenders.
Again, this early on most of these predictions are guided by the talent attached to the project (both on and off camera), the potential release dates, and the distribution. Because it is so early we only have Best Picture, Directors, and the acting categories predicted. Take from these what you can to make your own predictions as well!

Film Trailer: The Art of Steal
The Art of Steal
Trailer 1
Last Updated: 09/09/13
The few things I have heard about this film have been positive. From the trailer, the cast looks stellar, but the premise looks cliche. As a comical-heist film, I can’t see this really working.
