Summary: A week in the life of a young singer as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene of 1961.
Early Word: After being shown at Cannes, “Inside Llewyn Davis” received, pretty much, universal praise. The only difference in opinion being just how good it is. Currently has a perfect 100 score on Metacritic with 8 reviews, it certainly won’t maintain this high of success, but overall this film will likely land well critically. That being said, Oscar chances could be hit or miss. With comparisons to the success of “A Serious Man” it’ll likely have a strong chance to show up in major categories. It’s just about seeing how hard CBS Films pushes it.
